Named for the epic and graceful trans woman Georgia Black, is a imminent needs fund for Black trans folks in dire need financial and housing assistance. In partnership with Black and Beyond the Binary, Ten, Tiny, Talks Artists in need and who reside in Multnomah County are fast tracked to housing assistance. Modest financial assistance is available to a limited number applicants.
National Black Circus Week:
Our organization is very excited to co-present the first ever National Black Circus Week in Philadelphia, PA at the Philly Fringe Festival in partnership with the Cannonball program, CSAW (Connecting Circus Artists Around the World) and Rebel Arts. September 6th-11th. Black Circus week is free to attend and hosts panels, workshops, family friendly and 21+ circus shows, open mics, kiki’s and skill shares. Interested in meeting more people like you in the circus world at large?
The Peacock House short term resident housing (arriving Spring 2024) are artist guest houses and short-term housing for resident artists and those in the community who need a temporary amount of time to complete creative projects or reflect. The guest houses will be at Peacock House, a west side urban farm on the traditional Atfalati and Kalapuya lands now known as Aloha, Oregon.
